Training Theme
This training addresses the problem of the lack of diversity in companies and proposes concrete solutions to remedy it. Through figures and concrete examples, it highlights existing disparities in terms of gender, ethnic origin, disability and sexual orientation. The training identifies the nine main parameters of diversity and provides practical tools to foster inclusion. It concludes with six key attitudes to adopt to work towards diversity, allowing everyone to act at their level to create a more inclusive professional environment.
Training Objectives
In this online course, you will learn how to:
- Recognize the lack of diversity and combat unconscious biases in recruitment, especially regarding migrant background and disability
- Take gender diversity into account and combat the trend of underrepresentation of women in management positions
- Recognize that diversity is everywhere, even though some groups are still underrepresented or poorly received in the professional environment
- Develop attitudes to promote diversity, regardless of your position and responsibilities
- Accept that diversity entails sometimes uncomfortable differences in behavior, voice and perspective, politeness, argumentation and negotiation styles, relationship with the truth, emotional expression, relationship with time, and approach to reflection and action

- Presentation of data on diversity in the workplace
- Gender: 25% women in management positions
- Race/ethnicity: less than 1% of CEOs are black, 3% Asian, 4% Hispanic
- Disability: 17.9% of people with disabilities employed
- Young people and sexual orientation: 47% of students are afraid to talk about their sexual orientation
