Training Theme

This 15-minute training explores the internal mechanics of conflict through its three key stages: presupposition, trigger, and reaction. It helps to identify the presuppositions that generate conflicts, recognize automatic triggers, and transform our reactions for a better management of conflict situations. By understanding that conflicts often start in our thoughts, we learn to take a step back and change our limiting beliefs. The training provides practical tools to develop more harmonious professional relationships and break out of the cycle of conflict.

Training Objectives

In this online course, you will learn how to:

  • Identify the 3 stages of sliding into conflict: assumption, trigger, and reaction.
  • Recognize assumptions (demands, beliefs, and totalitarian values) that initiate conflicts.
  • Recognize triggers that automatically put us into the stress and conflict spiral.
  • Identify reactions that can amplify or reduce a conflict.
  • Take responsibility for changing our assumptions and reactions.
