King Nokia reigned supreme over the land of mobile phones.

00:00:09

With its sturdy and reliable devices,

00:00:11

the kingdom prospered.

00:00:13

The inhabitants praised the simplicity of life and the magic of the game snake.

00:00:18

But one day a messenger from the land of Apple brought a shiny object,

00:00:23

an iPhone.

00:00:24

This is the future,

00:00:25

he exclaimed.

00:00:27

King Nokia laughed.

00:00:28

Touch screens,

00:00:29

advanced operating systems,

00:00:31

iOS,

00:00:32

Android.

00:00:33

I don't believe in these gadgets.

00:00:35

From the south of the kingdom,

00:00:37

another visitor from the land of Samsung

00:00:39

arrived with a constantly transforming phone.

00:00:42

The future is modular!

00:00:44

he cried.

00:00:45

King Nokia shrugged.

00:00:47

But

00:00:47

while King Nochius scoffed,

00:00:49

his advisers were worried.

00:00:51

Your Majesty,

00:00:52

our citizens are starting to admire these new magics.

00:00:56

We need to improve.

00:00:57

We have some ideas to bring to you,

00:00:59

warned Intuisha.

00:01:01

The king retorted,

00:01:02

Go back to your work,

00:01:03

Intuisha.

00:01:04

We are the masters of this land.

00:01:06

Who could challenge us?

00:01:08

The Americans?

00:01:09

I'm not interested in that market.

00:01:12

Time passed and murmurs of revolt began to buzz.

00:01:16

The inhabitants wanted more than snake.

00:01:18

They wanted touch screens,

00:01:19

apps,

00:01:20

music.

00:01:21

They wanted the future.

00:01:23

Your Majesty,

00:01:24

it is time to evolve,

00:01:26

intuitionha implored again.

00:01:28

The king finally consented,

00:01:30

but Nokia land lacked agility.

00:01:32

It was impossible to be quick with

00:01:34

its heavy bureaucracy and complex organizational structure.

00:01:39

It was already too late.

00:01:42

One day the once mighty kingdom of Nokialand found itself almost deserted.

00:01:47

Citizens and customers had left,

00:01:50

drawn to the bright lights of Apple and the promises of other smartphones.

00:01:56

Moral without continuous improvement and innovation,

00:01:59

even the greatest leader can collapse in a few years,

00:02:02

or rather a few months.

00:02:05

The laurels of one day never guarantee eternal royalty.
