Cedric is a new employee.
00:00:06
He was drawn to Calabora by its slogan
00:00:08
Calabora,
00:00:09
a learning organization where peer sharing is the primary wealth.
00:00:14
This day was no different.
00:00:15
Each interaction at Calabora offered a treasure of learning.
00:00:19
At 9 a.m. Cedric,
00:00:21
with his project prototype in hand,
00:00:23
headed to the common room.
00:00:25
There Lydia provided him with a mirror of reflection in the form of feedback.
00:00:30
She dissected his ideas,
00:00:32
reshaping them with sharp suggestions that brought clarity to areas of doubt.
00:00:36
The feedback did its work,
00:00:38
and he set about his project with renewed energy.
00:00:41
In the afternoon,
00:00:42
Cedric joined the circle of thinkers,
00:00:44
a practice exchange group.
00:00:47
Yesterday they debated on how to better live the organization's values,
00:00:51
each sharing examples from their daily lives,
00:00:54
examples of success,
00:00:55
but also difficult examples for which they hadn't found solutions alone.
00:01:00
Today they were discussing methods of process optimization.
00:01:04
They wanted to ensure that bureaucracy and rules
00:01:07
were not or no longer obstacles to innovation.
00:01:11
Later in the evening,
00:01:12
a complex question buzzed in Cedric's mind.
00:01:15
He turned to Calabora's knowledge sharing platform.
00:01:19
There he found the answer to his question
00:01:21
in a previous discussion between two domain experts.
00:01:24
The puzzle in his mind found its missing piece.
00:01:28
What a fountain of knowledge!
00:01:29
he exclaimed.
00:01:31
Thus at dusk
00:01:33
Cedric watched the son of knowledge set on the horizon of Calabora.
00:01:37
He realized that every moment with his peers contributed to his learning.
00:01:42
Yesterday he'd given feedback to Nadia
00:01:45
and helped Robert to better use his new online application.
00:01:49
Cedric was both the receiver of this learning and a co-author.
