Here's what Kevin shared.

00:00:11

In our team,

00:00:12

we transformed the challenges of remote manager

00:00:14

managee cooperation into a springboard for success.

00:00:18

Here are 5 innovative and effective practices we've implemented.

00:00:22

Our virtual co-working held twice a week is our cornerstone.

00:00:27

Cindy and I connect via video conference and work simultaneously on our projects,

00:00:32

allowing us to discuss in real time and instantly resolve any issues that arise.

00:00:37

To stimulate professional development,

00:00:39

we've instituted personalized productivity challenges.

00:00:43

For example,

00:00:44

Cindy noticed my interest in data analysis and

00:00:47

challenged me to master a data visualization software

00:00:51

with an enticing reward at stake.

00:00:53

Using a collaborative project management tool has been a game changer.

00:00:58

It provides complete visibility on task progress,

00:01:01

facilitates document sharing and communication.

00:01:04

This has drastically reduced misunderstandings or duplicate work between us.

00:01:09

To ensure smooth communication,

00:01:11

we've also set up virtual office hours with the team.

00:01:15

I,

00:01:15

Kevin,

00:01:16

can contact Cindy or any other colleague during these

00:01:19

times to immediately address any questions or concerns.

00:01:22

We no longer have delays on projects.

00:01:25

Finally,

00:01:26

our remote mentoring.

00:01:28

allowed me to benefit from the expertise of a seasoned mentor.

00:01:32

With Cindy we identified my key development points.

00:01:36

Cindy then proposed a mentor who could guide me in these areas.

00:01:40

We call each other twice a month.

00:01:42

Every quarter we have a three-way meeting,

00:01:44

Cindy,

00:01:45

my mentor,

00:01:45

and I.

00:01:47

And as my development areas evolve,

00:01:49

fortunately,

00:01:50

I sometimes change mentors.

00:01:52

That's it.

00:01:53

00:01:59
