Allan heads to the office

00:00:04

while Laura prepares her home workspace.

00:00:07

The day begins with a brief team meeting on Zoom where

00:00:10

everyone shares their daily goals on a shared vision board.

00:00:13

Allan then delves into a task requiring concentration,

00:00:17

enjoying the quiet of the early morning office.

00:00:20

Simultaneously,

00:00:21

Laura progresses on a creative putrait,

00:00:23

taking advantage of the tranquility at home.

00:00:26

Around 10 a.m. they join a randomly selected colleague

00:00:30

for a 10 minute virtual random coffee break,

00:00:32

sharing an informal moment.

00:00:34

They were given some discussion topics but chose

00:00:37

to talk about their vacation plans instead.

00:00:40

At noon,

00:00:40

like every Thursday,

00:00:42

the team gathers for a themed virtual lunch.

00:00:45

Today's lunch,

00:00:46

hosted by Alexander,

00:00:47

is about unknown talents.

00:00:49

Each member briefly presents a personal passion

00:00:52

and the talents they've developed for it.

00:00:55

Alan at the office shows his love for photography

00:00:58

while Laura remotely shares her enthusiasm for baking.

00:01:02

The afternoon is dedicated to working in pairs on a joint project.

00:01:06

Laura and Alan use a common virtual desk to collaborate as if they were side by side.

00:01:12

The tool allows them to discuss in real time,

00:01:14

spontaneously exchange ideas,

00:01:16

and share their screams easily.

00:01:18

The distance seems to vanish.

00:01:21

The day continues.

00:01:22

Alan and Laura work on their projects and reach out to colleagues as needed.

00:01:27

For non-urgent matters,

00:01:28

they note their questions on the team's virtual desk,

00:01:31

where each team member commits to connecting once a day

00:01:34

and responding to queries with their knowledge and expertise.

00:01:38

At 5:45 p.m. during the evening's virtual wind down,

00:01:42

a small challenge is launched by Sylvia,

00:01:44

who's in charge of the activity.

00:01:46

Write a one line haiku about hybrid work.

00:01:50

An online vote follows to choose the winner.

00:01:53

Paul wins the contest with his haiku.

00:01:56

Between screams and laughter.

00:01:57

Work floats in the air,

00:01:59

an invisible link,

00:02:01

and Audley is runner up with keyboard's dance between home and office,

00:02:06

a borderless melody.
