00:00:07

we finalized favorable pricing terms

00:00:11

and our company has placed an order for ergonomic mice,

00:00:14

mouse pads and headsets which will be delivered next week for all employees.

00:00:19

Additionally, by the end of the year 10,

00:00:22

sit stand desks will replace some of our traditional desks as

00:00:26

an administrative assistant.

00:00:28

I'd like to draft a service memo to inform all employees of this imminent delivery.

00:00:34

Using Microsoft word.

00:00:36

Copilot will assist me in generating this informative document.

00:00:40

I'll start with a document template that includes our company logo.

00:00:44

I'll also take this opportunity to set

00:00:46

the font in compliance with our corporate branding

00:00:49

using the design tab and selecting the appropriate font style

00:00:53

to create the memo.

00:00:54

I'll use the copilot icon within the body of the document to

00:00:57

open the prompt window where I'll provide a detailed and precise request

00:01:02

in my prompt.

00:01:02

I'll specify that the memo is intended for display on our information board.

00:01:08

The management team has addressed

00:01:09

employee feedback regarding outdated equipment

00:01:12

details about the purchased items derived from two distinct purchase

00:01:17

orders should be included covering both it peripherals and desks,

00:01:23

pricing and product references should not be mentioned.

00:01:27

The memo should conclude with an encouraging message to foster team cohesion.

00:01:33

I'll also attach the two purchase orders to the prompt for reference.

00:01:36

After a few seconds, Copilot generates the document

00:01:40

at first glance, it aligns perfectly with my expectations.

00:01:43

I approve

00:01:45

to make the memo more engaging.

00:01:47

I'll use the copilot icon in the top right corner to generate an A I image.

00:01:51

I request a realistic yet simple depiction

00:01:54

of an ergonomic workspace with peripherals.

00:01:56

Copilot designer presents me with four versions.

00:02:00

I select one that fits best.

00:02:03

The final formatting and optional printing of the memo

00:02:05

or sending it as an email attachment to all employees

00:02:09

remain my responsibility.

00:02:11

Despite these minor manual tasks,

00:02:14

I've saved a significant amount of time with

00:02:16

copilot allowing me to focus on other responsibilities.
