forms and questionnaires with sections in Microsoft forms.

00:00:11

When you create a long or complex form,

00:00:14

it can be difficult for users to navigate through all the questions

00:00:18

sections work like chapters,

00:00:21

making your forms clearer and easier to understand.

00:00:24

To add a section to your form,

00:00:27

use the insert new question button.

00:00:31

Choose section from the list.

00:00:34

If you start by adding a section,

00:00:36

Microsoft Forms will automatically create a section at the beginning of your form.

00:00:41

Once your section is added,

00:00:43

give your section a title.

00:00:45

Optionally,

00:00:46

add a subtitle to clarify the content.

00:00:49

You can insert an image to make the section more visual.

00:00:54

In the three dots menu you'll find more useful options.

00:00:58

Duplicate section

00:01:00

recreates a section identically.

00:01:02

Remove section,

00:01:04

deletes the section

00:01:05

with the option to delete only the section

00:01:08

or also the questions it contains.

00:01:11

Move section

00:01:12

allows you to easily reorder your

00:01:14

sections without complicated dragging and dropping.

00:01:18

Add branching

00:01:20

lets you send respondents to different sections based on their answers.

00:01:25

To place your questions in the sections,

00:01:27

click and drag from the dot area to

00:01:30

position the question in the appropriate section.

00:01:33

This will separate your questions into sections,

00:01:36

and the headings will make it easier to navigate and understand.

00:01:41

The sections directly influence users navigation.

00:01:45

When a user has answered all the required questions in a section,

00:01:49

a next button appears to move to the next section.

00:01:52

This is especially useful for long forms

00:01:56

as it allows users to pause and not get lost in the flow of questions.

00:02:01

Through sections in Microsoft forms,

00:02:04

you can organize your long forms in a clear and structured way.

00:02:08

Your users navigate more easily

00:02:11

and understand the content better.

00:02:14

The user experience is improved with

00:02:16

next buttons in chapter separation

00:02:19

and to continue making your forms even more dynamic,
