using branching in Microsoft forms.

00:00:11

Branching allows you to offer different paths to users based on their answers,

00:00:16

making your forms more interactive and personalized.

00:00:20

Before you configure the branching,

00:00:22

write your entire form or quiz.

00:00:25

Make sure that all the necessary questions and sections are already created.

00:00:30

This ensures that every possible user journey is well taken care of.

00:00:35

To add a branch,

00:00:37

click on a question,

00:00:38

and then on the menu of the three dots.

00:00:42

Select add branching.

00:00:44

The menu will display your entire form

00:00:46

with the option to choose where each answer will direct the user.

00:00:51

You can add branching to questions as well as sections.

00:00:56

By default,

00:00:57

branching refers to the next question or section in the order in which it is written.

00:01:03

You can open the drop down list to choose another possible branch.

00:01:07

Go to the end of the form,

00:01:09

move on to another question in the same section.

00:01:14

Jump to another section.

00:01:16

On your branches are configured,

00:01:19

return to the form to test each path,

00:01:22

verify that users are directed to the correct

00:01:25

questions or sections based on their answers.

00:01:28

Testing your branching is essential to avoid confusion

00:01:32

and ensure a smooth experience.

00:01:35

Depending on the type of question,

00:01:37

you can define a unique path for each possible answer.

00:01:42

This makes it possible to create forms that are fully

00:01:46

customized and adapted to the answers provided by each user.

00:01:50

In the next tutorial,

00:01:52

we'll look at how to save time

00:01:54

by creating a form with quick import.
