00:00:11

everyone and welcome to this tutorial about the importance

00:00:14

of prompts in the context of artificial intelligence.

00:00:18

Now that we all know what a prompt is,

00:00:19

it's crucial to understand how to craft a good one

00:00:23

to do this. We will use the following model in writing our prompts

00:00:27

tasks,

00:00:30

context

00:00:32

format

00:00:33

example,

00:00:35

personality,

00:00:36

tone

00:00:37

tasks represent the action. We want the A I to perform precisely.

00:00:42

It should not be vague or open to interpretation.

00:00:45

Context includes the information.

00:00:47

The A I should have to provide

00:00:49

a personalized and suitable response for our situation

00:00:54

format. Tells the A I, what kind of output we expect?

00:00:58

Is it an article, an email?

00:01:00

The A I will adapt the format and length accordingly.

00:01:04

Example illustrates what we expect in terms of form structure or outline,

00:01:09

providing an example can drastically improve the A I's output.

00:01:13

Personality refers to the stance the A I should take. Is it an expert on the subject?

00:01:19

Is it discovering the topic?

00:01:21

The A I can even adopt the persona of well known individuals

00:01:25

tone defines how the A I will present the information. Should it be formal?

00:01:30

Should it be humorous?

00:01:31

There are many tones that can be used.

00:01:34

Let's take an example,

00:01:35

you need to write a meeting report

00:01:38

task about project X that we are implementing in our it company. Y.

00:01:43

What context

00:01:46

the report should be a maximum of two pages intended to be printed format

00:01:51

and should follow this outline

00:01:53

example.

00:01:54

You are a project manager with 10 years of experience who has written many reports.

00:01:59

Personality.

00:02:01

The tone should be formal yet

00:02:02

light suitable for internal distribution among colleagues

00:02:07

tone,

00:02:08

I use a one note notebook to store the prompts. I use regularly.

00:02:11

It's important to evolve your prompts over time.

00:02:14

Also having a similar prompt each time

00:02:17

allows for more satisfactory and reproducible results

00:02:22

in the upcoming videos,

00:02:23

we will explore each point of the model in detail to achieve better prompts.
