videos from static images or a simple prompt.

00:00:13

To do this,

00:00:14

we first select the image of our choice from our mid journey gallery,

00:00:18

or by uploading our own image.

00:00:21

Then we either click on the animate image button under the thumbnail.

00:00:25

The principle is simple.

00:00:27

Mid-journey takes this image as the 1st frame and generates a

00:00:30

sequence of frames to create a clip of about 5 seconds.

00:00:34

We can add a prompt if needed,

00:00:36

before starting the generation to guide mid journey.

00:00:39

In the video settings,

00:00:41

we choose the type of motion,

00:00:42

low motion for subtle and natural movements,

00:00:45

or high motion for fast and dynamic movements.

00:00:49

This option influences the style of the animation produced.

00:00:53

Technical details.

00:00:55

The videos are currently generated in standard definition,

00:00:58

480p.

00:01:00

Video production consumes about 8 times more resources than a still image.

00:01:05

All subscriptions can create videos in fast mode,

00:01:08

quick,

00:01:09

but only the pro mega plans have access to relax mode,

00:01:12

slower but without a quota.

00:01:14

Once the video is generated,

00:01:16

we can preview it by hovering over the thumbnail and download it if we like it.
