I've just been assigned a

00:00:02

new client for my sales

00:00:04

team and I wish to create a folder in which

00:00:07

to put all the files related

00:00:08

to that client. First,

00:00:10

let's go to the document

00:00:12

library and click on New.

00:00:14

I can now create a folder and

00:00:16

even give it a specific color.

00:00:18

Let's go with a light grid and

00:00:21

name that folder. Client one.

00:00:26

Once created, Please note that SharePoint

00:00:28

is a platform dedicated to collaboration.

00:00:31

Therefore every person that has

00:00:34

access to the SharePoint site has

00:00:37

by default an access to my folder.

00:00:41

In that folder I am now going to go ahead

00:00:44

and create well first a Word document.

00:00:48

I can also create an Excel and a PowerPoint.

00:00:51

I'm going to start by renaming

00:00:54

the Word document too. Contract.

00:00:59

And close the documents.

00:01:01

I do not have to save this modification.

00:01:04

Now if I just refresh the page,

00:01:07

the contract is here.

00:01:10

I'm also going to create an Excel

00:01:12

workbook that I will call Budget,

00:01:15

but this time I will not rename it

00:01:18

using this way I will go back to

00:01:22

the library by closing the Excel.

00:01:24

Click on the three ellipses.

00:01:28

And rename. And this

00:01:31

fight will be called Budget client one.

00:01:38

I can now save

00:01:39

the new name and I just created

00:01:42

a folder and new documents in

00:01:44

a SharePoint document library.
