I work in the sales department of

00:00:03

my organization and we use this

00:00:05

SharePoint site on a daily basis.

00:00:08

The issue is if we take a look

00:00:10

at the navigation bar that

00:00:12

everything is a bit messy.

00:00:15

As of now we have the homepage,

00:00:17

the default document library,

00:00:19

a list pages and other various libraries.

00:00:23

What can you do to make the

00:00:26

navigation more easy? Well,

00:00:28

let's use the Edit button in SharePoint.

00:00:31

You can customize your site navigation.

00:00:34

Let's start by putting our mouse

00:00:37

right under home and with the

00:00:40

plus button we will use a label,

00:00:43

another link and use a display name files.

00:00:47

Under Files, let's put template

00:00:49

which is a document library,

00:00:52

client folder and documents.

00:00:53

There is a need option in

00:00:56

SharePoint called Ublink.

00:00:58

We are going to use the three ellipses.

00:01:04

To simply make as a libraries.

00:01:09

And save and all of a sudden a new

00:01:12

menu called Files just appeared.

00:01:15

If you put a mouse on it

00:01:18

we will find templates,

00:01:20

client folders and the documents.

00:01:24

Let's go further, let's click again on

00:01:26

edit and let's create another label,

00:01:29

this time called lists and we will

00:01:31

put sales and presentation of

00:01:34

the team and employee onboarding.

00:01:36

But this time we will not be using

00:01:39

the three ellipses and make sublink.

00:01:42

We will simply drag and drop

00:01:45

on the name list.

00:01:47

To automatically make it as a sub link.

00:01:52

We could also, if needs be,

00:01:54

click on the three ellipses and make us a

00:01:58

sublink again to create a second level.

00:02:02

What does it look like?

00:02:04

Let's save it.

00:02:05

We now have list,

00:02:07

Employee onboarding and a second

00:02:09

level to customize on navigation.

00:02:12

This allows us to make sure that

00:02:14

only the most important content is

00:02:17

available on our site navigation.
