00:00:06

we will demonstrate how to enable live transcription

00:00:08

in teams and generate call summaries with co-pilot.

00:00:12

This helps you efficiently organize your conversations

00:00:14

and access key information at any time.

00:00:19

To begin,

00:00:19

initiate a call.

00:00:27

Once the call is connected,

00:00:28

inform your participant that you will enable transcription.

00:00:32

Hi,

00:00:32

Harry,

00:00:33

I wanted to discuss our new project on creating online courses for Excel beginners.

00:00:37

Before we start,

00:00:38

I want to let you know that I'll

00:00:39

be recording this conversation for transcription purposes.

00:00:43

Do you have a moment?

00:00:45

Absolutely,

00:00:45

Steve,

00:00:46

I've been looking forward to this.

00:00:48

Where should we start?

00:00:49

Click on the 3 dots in the top right corner.

00:00:52

Select record and transcribe from the dropdown menu.

00:00:57

Then click on start transcription.

00:01:03

Great,

00:01:03

let's begin with the course structure.

00:01:05

I think we should break it down into modules,

00:01:07

starting with the basics like the Excel interface

00:01:10

and simple data entry.

00:01:12

That sounds good.

00:01:13

We can then move on to more advanced topics like formulas,

00:01:17

functions,

00:01:18

and data visualization.

00:01:20

Each module should have a mix of video tutorials,

00:01:22

quizzes,

00:01:23

and practical exercises.

00:01:25

The transcription will appear live on the right side of the screen.

00:01:30

You will notice that co-pilot clearly

00:01:32

distinguishes between speakers in the transcription.

00:01:35

This makes it easier to follow the conversation

00:01:38

and identify who said what.

00:01:40

Sounds good.

00:01:41

Thanks,

00:01:42

Harry.

00:01:43

Looking forward to creating an amazing course together.

00:01:45

Me too,

00:01:46

Steve.

00:01:47

Talk to you soon.

00:01:49

After ending the call,

00:01:51

Go to your call history.

00:01:54

Click on the relevant call.

00:01:58

On the right side of the screen,

00:01:59

you will see the transcription details.

00:02:07

You can download it as subtitles or a word document.

00:02:11

This allows you to keep a written

00:02:12

record of your conversations for future reference.

00:02:19

Click on the recap this call button.

00:02:23

Co-pilot will offer prompt suggestions.

00:02:27

When you select a prompt and while co-pilot

00:02:29

generates the notes and tasks for the meeting.

00:02:32

You will see blue numbers appear next to the items in the summary.

00:02:37

By hovering over these numbers,

00:02:39

a pop-up window will display an excerpt of

00:02:41

the conversation related to that specific item.

00:02:44

This allows you to trace exactly which part of the

00:02:47

discussion served as the basis for this recommendation or action.

00:02:52

You can also ignore the prompts and ask questions related to the conversation.

00:03:02

Co-pilot may generate information that is not always accurate.

00:03:07

It is recommended to verify the provided data,

00:03:10

and if you identify an error or inaccuracy,

00:03:13

you can report it using the dedicated option symbolized by

00:03:16

a thumbs up or down to submit your feedback.

00:03:20

This way

00:03:21

you can contribute to improving the responses.

00:03:27

And there you have it.

00:03:28

You now know how to

00:03:30

start and transcribe a call.

00:03:33

Access summaries and interact with the AI.

00:03:37

Download the transcription for later review.
